Problem area 1

While conducting a cognitive walkthrough, I highlighted customers’ pain points when they initiate a meeting. Users are accustomed to the layout of Zoom/Hangouts/Teams.

Later I dived into other meeting tools on the market to better understand the existing layouts. The competitive analysis gave me possible areas to improve the user flows and layout of the product.

Solution

An entrance for a quick meeting that allows users to initiate meetings in a few simple steps was introduced to the homepage of Aldo Meeting.

For advanced settings, related information is grouped with a clear user flow of filling out the necessary information.

Problem area 2

Whiteboard is an important feature of Aldo Meeting app. The current toolbar icon and other functions such as zoom in and out are mixed up, which makes it difficult to distinguish different functions.

Solution

The toolbar is presented at the right without any clicking. Main function such as screenshot, save, and upload are showed at the top right corner for easy reach.
